Privacy Policy

In short

Veresimo does not collect your data. Your book stays on your own phone. We have no server, no accounts, and no advertising or analytics tools. We cannot see your book.

What is stored on your phone

Everything you enter is stored only in Veresimo's space on your phone:

  • your business name, tax number, IBAN, logo and app settings;
  • your customers' and suppliers' names and, if you entered them, phone numbers, tax or ID numbers, addresses, emails and IBANs;
  • credit, cash, cheque and promissory note records, invoice numbers, notes and due dates;
  • your products and stock movements;
  • your staff's names, wages, overtime, advances and salary payments;
  • receipt photos you attach to records;
  • automatic backups of your book from the last 14 days (if turned on, one copy a day).

None of this is sent to us or anyone else.

Permissions and what they are for

Veresimo asks for a permission only when you first use the feature. If you say no, the rest of the app keeps working.

  • Contacts: to pick a customer from your address book or add contacts when importing a paper ledger. Only the chosen person's name and number are read; your address book is not copied.
  • Camera and photos: to scan receipts, invoices, Z reports, paper ledger pages and barcodes, and to attach receipt photos and a logo. Text is read on the phone and not sent over the internet. No images are saved while scanning barcodes.
  • Microphone and speech recognition: for voice entry. Your phone's own speech recognition turns what you say into text. If the language model is installed, audio does not leave the phone; if not, your phone's service is used (Apple on iPhone, Google on Android). Veresimo does not record or keep audio.
  • Face ID, Touch ID or passcode: for the app lock. Face and fingerprint data stay in your phone's security system; the app only learns whether it was unlocked.
  • Notifications: for due date, payment promise and weekly reminders. Reminders are scheduled on the phone; nothing is sent from a server.

What you share

The following leave your phone only when you tap a button and choose the app to share with:

  • WhatsApp messages to customers, suppliers or staff;
  • account statements, price quotes, shelf labels and report PDFs, and the monthly Excel report;
  • backup files and the file for moving to a new phone.

Once shared, that information is the responsibility of the app you chose (WhatsApp, email, Drive and so on) and of the recipient. You can protect a backup with a password: the file is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and cannot be opened without it. The password is not stored anywhere; if you forget it, that backup cannot be opened. Backups without a password are not encrypted, so keep them somewhere you trust.

If your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google backup) is on, Veresimo's data may be included in it. That backup is between you and Apple or Google.

Subscription

You buy Veresimo Pro through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google takes the payment; we never see your card details. The app only asks the store whether your subscription is valid and keeps the answer on your phone.

Your customers' and staff's data

The customer, supplier and staff details you write in your book belong to your business. Under Türkiye's data protection law (KVKK) and similar laws, you are the data controller for that data. Veresimo does not process, see or pass it on. Using it only to track what is owed and informing the people concerned is your responsibility.

Deleting data

  • Deleting a customer or supplier removes their name, phone number and account details; their financial records stay under the name "Deleted customer" so your tax records stay intact. A contact with no records is deleted completely.
  • Deleting a staff member removes their name and contact details; salary records stay under the name "Deleted employee".
  • If automatic backups are on, older details stay in the backups on your phone for at most 14 more days and are then deleted automatically.
  • Deleting Veresimo from your phone deletes all records on it. Backups, statements and reports you exported stay where you saved them.

If you email us

When you write to info@veresimo.com, your email address, message and attachments are used only to reply to you. Messages reach our Gmail inbox through Cloudflare's email routing service and are kept there; Cloudflare and Google may process and store them on servers outside Türkiye. We keep correspondence for at most 12 months. To have it deleted, just ask; we reply within 30 days. Data controller: Kolay Hayat.

Children

Veresimo is made for businesses and is not directed at children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new text on this page and update the effective date.
